ANSWER If you live in a hot, tropical climate, paying attention to the following advice will help you to grow successfully: - Seeds needs to be fresh. Test your seeds for freshness.
- Room temperature needs to remain under 80 degrees Fahrenheit (27 degrees Celsius). Air conditioning will help with this.
- Set your EasyGreen timer to a minimum of 7 activations per day (see ideal setting table below).
- For greens such as wheat-grass, sunflower, and buckwheat, you may leave your EasyGreen's door half open after the first 2 days of germination.
- To help avoid mold, use 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide (3% concentrate) per full water tank.
- In addition, soak your seeds in a solution of 200cc sodium hypochlorite (or one of the more "green" solutions we recommend) in a gallon of water for 30 minutes. Rinse the seeds before sprinkling them on the trays.
