ANSWER

If you live in a hot, tropical climate, paying attention to the following advice will help you to grow successfully:

  1. Seeds needs to be fresh. Test your seeds for freshness.
  2. Room temperature  needs to remain under 80 degrees Fahrenheit (27 degrees Celsius). Air conditioning will help with this.
  3. Set your EasyGreen timer to a minimum of 7 activations per day (see ideal setting table below).
  4. For greens such as wheat-grass, sunflower, and buckwheat, you may leave your EasyGreen's door half open after the first 2 days of germination.
  5. To help avoid mold, use 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide (3% concentrate) per full water tank.
  6. In addition, soak your seeds in a solution of 200cc sodium hypochlorite (or one of the more "green" solutions we recommend) in a gallon of water for 30 minutes. Rinse the seeds before sprinkling them on the trays.
